Chicagoland April Battletech Game

Good afternoon everyone. I'll be running the April Battletech game at Games Plus this month. First and foremost it will be on Saturday the 21st. The game will run for an indeterminate time starting as soon as I am set up after 10 AM. That being said, it will be a very open game so you can come and go as your schedule permits.

So what is the scenario? Well, it combines two of my favorite simple game ideas: Binder Grinder and King of the Hill. I'll provide the record sheets and map. You all can bring whatever minis you want to represent your mech. We'll BV balance whatever you pick out of my binder of record sheets and then play a King of the Hill scenario. Pretty simple.

I am planning to attend, this funky weather should be wrapped up by then.  Hope to see everyone there.

Edit:  I will have to impose on someone to borrow a mini for the game!  Looks like I will be here through June anyway.

I don't know if you guys like using 3d hex maps, but you'll have some new options at Games Plus now.  There's some hills too.

A very good turnout and a lot of fun!  Thanks to GWA for hosting and everyone for coming out.  From Al tossing Artillery for days, engine explosions, DFA'ing Whitworths, and first shot headshots this game had it all.  A hearty /welcome aboard to the new faces and huge congrats to Sergio, Alex, and Rick for surviving the bedlam and shenanigans!

Keep an eye on this forum for next month's event details and time and hope to see everyone there!
