Metal Coins Material Question
« on: 27 June 2018, 10:43:13 »
Are the Dwarven coins pewter or lead? Are they lead-free, if they are pewter? Are they the same material as the rest of the IWM miniatures?

All IWM metal pieces are lead-free pewter. I believe it's still the "Ralidium" alloy.

I didn't think that it was legal to use lead for something like this anymore.

It was never illegal. Even today, some companies produce lead miniatures. As long as they are clearly marked as being for adult collectors, the stricter toy safety laws do not apply. Most companies don't bother with lead because it's bad for their employees.

The new coins are zinc and come polished (like monopoly pieces). I will be updating the description this week, I thought I did that already.
