Title: The Ship's Crew Skill Field

I've been making ship's crew in AToW for another poster for a couple of weeks now, and it strikes me the "Ship's Crew" field needs a little more flexibility.  The main reason is the lack of Communications/Conventional and Sensor Operations, both skills that any bridge crew watch stander would need.  My solution is to broaden the "Ship's Crew" skill field from AToW.  Basically the field would stay at five skills, but three of those five would be picked from a longer list.  So, without further ado...

Ship's Crew Skill Field
Requires: Basic Training (Naval) Field, RFL 3, and cannot have TDS Trait
Career/Ship's Crew (fixed)
Zero-G Operations (fixed)
Three skills selected from the following list (multiple Technician skills selected must be different sub-skills):
Communications/Conventional
Computers
Gunnery/Spacecraft
Navigation/Space
Sensor Operations
Technician/Any

I would go a little further and brake them down into positions.
Navigation, Weapons, Etc.

You mean list all the possible combinations of the three flexible skills?  ???

It could be as simple as just footnoting the combinations.

Example:
Gunnery/Spacecraft #

Well, that gets a little complicated, but here's a quick swing at some of the various ratings:

Bridge Crew Ratings:
Gunner: Gunnery/Spacecraft, Sensor Operations, Communications/Conventional
Quartermaster: Navigation/Space, Sensor Operations, Computer
Sensor Operator: Sensor Operations, Communications/Conventional, Computer
Sensor Technician: Sensor Operations, Computer, Technician/Electronics
Communications Technician: Communications/Conventional, Computer, Technician/Electronics
Weapons Technician:  Technician/Weapons, Technician/Electronics, Computer
And other possible combinations...

Engineering Ratings:
Nuclear Technician: Technician/Nuclear, Technician/Jets, Computer
Hull Technician: Technician/Mechanical, Technician/Aeronautics, Computer
Electrical Technician: Technician/Aeronautics, Technician/Electronics, Computer
Thruster Technician: Technician/Jets, Technician/Aeronautics, Computer
And many other possible combinations...

"Deck" Ratings:
Bosun's Mates: Technician/Mechanical, Communications/Conventional, Navigation/Space
"Top Men" (work on Jump Sails): Technician/Myomer, Communications/Conventional, Navigation/Space
And other possible combinations...
