(Answered) Revised Refitting rules and moving components
« on: 23 December 2021, 17:04:33 »
I am a bit confused about this after reading as many threads on the Revised Refitting rules as I could find.  My question is this;

If, for example, I wanted to remove the Machine Guns and Ammo from a Phoenix Hawk, and then move the Medium Laser from the Right Arm to Center Torso (where the MG Ammo was removed), does that count as a Class C refit or a Class B?  A previous thread had made it seem like a Class C Move was if the item was being moved to a new location where nothing had been removed, as I understood it.

Thanks for your time.

Most of the threads are on the old system, and so no longer apply.

Under the current system, moving a component to another location is Class C, as per the text.

Just to clarify:

In the above example adding a third Medium Laser to the Center Torso in place of the Machine Gun Ammunition would be a Class B, while moving the Right Arm Medium Laser to the same position would be Class C, is that correct?

Thanks again.
