After all, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few!  :cheesy:
* No, FASA wasn't big on errata - ColBosch
* The Housebook series is from the 80's and is the foundation of Btech, the 80's heart wrapped in heavy metal that beats to this day - Sigma
* To sum it up: FASAnomics: By Cthulhu, for Cthulhu - Moonsword
* Because Battletech is a conspiracy by Habsburg & Bourbon pretenders - MadCapellan
* The Hellbringer is cool, either way. It's not cool because it's bad, it's cool because it's bad with balls - Nightsky
* It was a glorious time for people who felt that we didn't have enough Marauder variants - HABeas2, re "Empires Aflame"

Hi Speck, what is currently in the pipeline?

Soon, just need a few details sorted out with Mike.

The title of this thread was pre-ordained.

I was struggling and then it dawned on me where the last one came from. Just went with it.

Any updates for the Celerity and Soyal?

Celerity, I dropped the ball with. Need to check with Joel again so it can get finalized.
Soyal, first I have heard about it. Nothing official has been done with it.

Has anything been happening with the Primitive Dervish miniature? I remember seeing on instagram WIP pictures of the 3d sculpt and then a 3d printed prototype of it a few years ago and i think the poster said that he was making it for IWM, but it doesn't seem like it ever came out.

Any idea if/when we'll start getting more melee weapon mechs or quads in the packs?  Since the Grinder events Catalyst runs, uses only mechs in those packs, it would be Nice to have more than just the generic axeman and hatchet man....

That is not a question for IWM. The Nightsky is out, the Shiro and Rokurokubi are in a force pack scheduled to come out towards the end of the year. The Berserker, Scarabus, and Jade Hawk are scheduled to be in Force Packs next year. All of this information was released at Kerenskycon.

IWM has nothing to do with the plastic minis anyway.

Speck, does the recent announcement that CGL doesn't plan to do anything at all for Aero for the next several years have any effect on IWM's willingness to sculpt more fighters, whether though Fan Finance or otherwise?

Weirdo - that is a FANTASTIC suggestion.  We know that there's new official artwork for aerofighters that won't be made in plastic, lets get them in metal!  (Just get the scale/size right)

I would like to see more but it would be Fan Finance driven, which I hope to get something off the ground this year.

I'm more concerned with the ones that don't have new art, that we now know won't get new art, and that have no mini at all, and I will keep asking different people different questions until I find the question that ends in Spad minis, I do not care how long it takes.

TRO:3050Ug art for the Spad isn't new enough, or good enough?

That is the issue right now with doing older units that do not have Minis, CGL could redo the art anytime.

That's what I mean: They just said they don't intend to.

Also, for the Spad don't forget the art in TRO Prototypes for the Umbra, which is functionally the same bird.

EDIT: Well, never mind. I could have sworn they said in the recent Reddit AMA that they didn't plan to release *anything* for Aero in the foreseeable future, but now I can't find it. I guess we're still just as screwed as we were before.

One of the virtues of the fan funding pipeline is democracy of the wallet. If someone comes with cash in hand, it has a chance to go in tbe queue.

Weren’t some of the micro fighters funded like that?

You bought the box set and are ready to expand your bt experience. Now what? | Modern Sourcebook Index | FASA Sourcebook Index | Print on Demand Index
Equipment Reference Cards | DIY Pilot Cards | PaperTech Mech and Vehicle Counters

Interviewer: Since you’ve stopped making art, how do you spend your time?
Paul Chan Breathers: Oh, I’m a breather. I’m a respirateur. Isn’t that enough?

Time to start saving up...

Do that and I will start checking on cost on my end to determine the total need.

There's an awful lot of 'Mechs to do first.

That is true.
