LOL remember when IWM made a big push on social media and outreach this year and then did that for about a week?

As someone who works in the field, social media management can be a pretty demanding gig (not to mention the added thrill of people with the mental acumen of table salt invariably calling you "the intern who does their social media"). It's even more so when you have other duties at a very small company, and those duties are somewhat more proximate to paying the bills.

Maybe Speck is on vacation? It would be nice to have more of an idea what's coming up in the next release either way, to have something to get excited over. I expect the Timber Wolf A in the next wave of releases (since we have pics of a painted model of it), whenever that is- but considering there have only been two releases this year, I was hoping for something a bit more concrete by this point.  :undecided:

I know via other channels Speck is alive and well, and incredibly busy. So let's be patient, as hard as it seems ;)
* No, FASA wasn't big on errata - ColBosch
* The Housebook series is from the 80's and is the foundation of Btech, the 80's heart wrapped in heavy metal that beats to this day - Sigma
* To sum it up: FASAnomics: By Cthulhu, for Cthulhu - Moonsword
* Because Battletech is a conspiracy by Habsburg & Bourbon pretenders - MadCapellan
* The Hellbringer is cool, either way. It's not cool because it's bad, it's cool because it's bad with balls - Nightsky
* It was a glorious time for people who felt that we didn't have enough Marauder variants - HABeas2, re "Empires Aflame"

That's great to hear! Hopefully Speck has his head above water soon with that big workload and can come back to us soon with exciting news.

(fingers crossed for some light mechs in the next release)

Updated Release Schedule for last release this year and first one next year. I will have some other small items, but need to confirm with Mike first before I update. I will also have CAD images up soon for all of the releases.

Sorry for the disappearance since GenCon, life got busy with job searching and the normal family fun.

Wasn't the Inferno supposed to come with variant bits for the INF-NO & the INF-NOA variant?

Inferno added to Christmas list, list sent!  Not normally a assault guy but might have to buy a Iron Cheetah too.

Me too, it will be a good fit in a CSR 4/6 Assault Star.

Looking at the pictures on your store, the INF-NOA has an extra cannon on its right shoulder that doesn't correspond to anything on the record sheet.  Unless that's supposed to be an omni-pod without a weapon in it?

Yes when Speck originally listed the item it said prime only, but revised the listing to include the A which I was told about weeks before he posted...so that has been cleared up.

Thanks for the update, Speck!  Hope you and everyone else at IWM are doing well.

I'd love it if IWM would sell the new omni weapon pods (SRM-6, Gauss and UAC-20 arms, PPC arms, etc) separately like you did with the previous generation of omnimechs.  Any chance of that?
