Speck, any chance we could get items like Shadow Hawk arms from the SHD-2Hb Royal model in the scrap yard?

I just saw the Iron Cheetah, Timberwolf, and Mad Dog are going to be released in the spring. I reckon I'll be buying my first metal mechs. That Iron Cheetah is so freaking awesome!

The shoulder Omni-pods from the T-Wolf A are going to be so useful in many other conversions. An SRM-6/Streak and pod of 3 MPLasers can easily be found or modified for use in many other configurations for other omnimechs.

I have been desperate for someone to make a VP-1 Viper mini since its debut.

Indeed, and it'd be lovely to see the Vipers up at some point so I can get both!

Definitely, I would also hope that the Viper would get some small variant bits.

All praise the great people at Iron Wind! My Black Friday order just arrived here. It's crossed continents and an ocean, and arrived well before Christmas - 5.4lb of concentrated metal goodness!

(I reckoned I'd get this order before the KS fulfilment, but really happy with the speed it has arrived!) Many thanks, IWM crew one and all!

My understanding is that due to the influx of BF/CM orders...they were pushed back 1 week.

Got notification that online stores have the Q4 minis available for purchase now.  Now to find out if they'll arrive before the end of the year.

As for where....well ...I'd get a warning for advertising.

All we need now is the Kraken 3.  And we know that it's getting a plastic release in the Aces box.

Just wish it, and the Bane 2, would be outside of that box...but it is what it is.

Did anyone else notice that the new Night Gyr B doesn't make any sense at all? You can't just drill holes in the shoulder pads and call them missile launches... There's no build up in structure at all to account for the actual launcher mechanism. It looks terrible.

It's how omni-pods have worked since 1989.  Battlemechs have never really had much attention paid to appropriate levels of internal volume.  Also, it's the D variant of the Night Gyr.  The Nova Cat is the one that got the B variant.

Here's how it looked in the CCG:

Most 'Mechs have a rather cavalier attitude to ammo storage/feeding mechanisms..

Please note that this illustration has been modified.  No Timberwolf variant keeps ammo in the legs.  Having said that, I disapprove of any design that has the ammo passing from the torso to the arms.  It's too easy to jam.
