Mmmmm...Tasty! I went from, "What am I going to do with a Cadaver and an Exhumer?" to, "I must find something to do with a Cadaver and an Exhumer!" I think all of these sculpts look pretty impressive in that they seems to very closely recreate the art while still looking good and well proportioned in 3D!
And that Mortis...there is a lot to digest in that picture. It LOOKS like there is some fairly detailed ground clutter cast into the base, and it looks like there is cast-in battle damage on the left torso and shoulder. There also looks like something is going on with that left leg around the thigh area, but I can't quite tell what. This seems like a much more 'cinematic' sculpt, for lack of a better word, than we usually see. It's got me pretty curious to see it in the flesh. By see, I of course mean, "Buy, if there are any left when I get to the exhibit hall!"
I think I like the look for the 'stomach' without the RL10 on the original a little better, but I admit I found it odd that there wast even really a hint of one in the -1A sculpt. Also, with the angle of the picture on IWM's site, the new Mortis has a...very happy pelvis. Seriously, all I can see is a smiley face down there! Anyway, minor silly comments aside, I am diggin' the new Mortis. I think it is my favorite of the three.
