Damn shame this is fanon only, it made a great read.  Shame to see it fulfilled, in all honesty.  Maybe there's openings for more, what with Amanda's "ghost" and all being out there.

Congratulations on finishing such an ambitious story.
Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

First of all this is an excellent story....great ending....and open ended enough to lead into another story arc....and if I may ask....that you folks could do some short stories with the fallout from the revelation of the social experimentation's done by the SLIC, ComStar and the Clans....as well as the mystery of Alabaster AI, where it is located, what will its next moves be....the reference to white....could it be located on Terra....what is the state of technology in the Inner Sphere....what are the AI's status....lots of questions....

Hehe.

Once I'm back on proper internet and a proper computer yeah we got a lot more to coordinate and plan.  Plus I have that mapping project to finish at some point.

But yeah we have a few ideas, especially for side stories to come back and revisit.

Not sure how long it'll be before we get to the conclusion of Helena's arc.  As mentioned we do have a lot left to figure out/plan and well I suspect Cannonshop needs more of a break than I do at this point because I've been on vacation and thus forced to take one(why the spotty internet and laptop).

and they converted her ship to house her core. i wonder if the fact she's got a "split personality" in the form of Desmond helps her run a drone body and the ship at the same time.

I know, I know, the story was very long. (Longer than my usual, but then, I usually don't get this much help).  However, stories have to end so new stories can begin.

I will say it has been kind of surreal for me.  I don't usually write this much, at this pace, and definately not for this long.

There are entire scenes in there that were written by me, numerous times the timing worked out and we were able to colaborate in real time, and always ideas being bounced around.

Also for some reason it amuses me to no end that no one can tell which were written by me.

that would explain why the Evanescent is being haunted...  But how did she "Disappear" from Colonel Richard Mitchell, 200th Royal Light Horse, SaRI Confederacy and did her people go with her??

Of course now you have to find another odd corner of the universe and write a story that doesn't involve the Ngo's, the Cameron Sisters, or a Desmond.

... and go!

Are you going to write another story / book for saga? Something that's parallel to what's going on with this or in between until the next part happens?

There are plans for a few short stories while we get the next major installment ready.

What the heck is Kolossus up to?!

That, my friend, is an excellent question!

It's clear what Alabaster is up to -- social engineering to stop the endless cycle of wars and bring about a peaceful Star League, presumably maintaining Terran supremacy.

I wonder if Kolossues wasn't there to monitor Alabaster, to keep "the experiment" from getting out of hand.  Perhaps "The Master" was actually something similar on Terra, before it ran into Thomas Marik and things got really out of hand. Ah well. Time will tell. :)
