amusingly, jordan's counting stats weren't terrible in washington. his last season, he actually posted consistent career numbers in rebounds and steals. scoring was down about ten ppg from his career average, mostly because he couldn't get to the rim and generate as many free throw attempts. not vintage, no. but not objectively putrid.

brady is a slightly different case as he literally relies on half the offense to keep him upright. the chargers or dolphins would offer little in that regard.

The secret to the Pats' success was the entire team. That huge O line, the D, and Brady in his prime as the centerpiece, the proverbial straw that stirs the drink. He wasn't a one man show, he had a great team around him.

Now that he's getting old, he relies on that team more than ever, and that team is now aging just like him. But put him somewhere else - like the Chargers or the Dolphins - and we will see a different Brady. If he's going to stick around and overstay he should also stay with the Pats, because he will definitely be showing his age once he's removed from that setting.

Last year and this year aren’t any different than when they beat the Rams, really. That was hardly an offensive juggernaut. They were really only overwhelming ironically the years they lost to the giants. None of their Super Bowl winning teams rank in the top 20 of historical DVOA

The centerpiece is actually A combination of bill and his staff on one side being A+ on the personnel evaluation / game planning and Brady on the other being excellent but also taking less money so guys we don’t talk about that much like Patrick Chung, Dont’a Hightower, Stephen Neal, and Willie McGinest stay on the payroll.

I have to be honest I thought Seattle was going to lose today. I did not see that coming.

I know Wentz going out helped Seattle's defense but Seattle in general just looked different than usual.

But Green Bay next weekend really should prove Seattle's doom.

And the last of my predictions I could be wrong about I am now wrong about.

It’s really easy to naysay when only 3.125% of teams win the Super Bowl each season ;) Though the fan fatalism is always interesting to behold. The eagles were constipated enough that not even a non-concussed wentz would have made that much of a difference.

3-1 in picks this week with 4-0 only denied by a strip sack. I’ll take it.
