NFL refs are getting worse and worse, I hate to say they are starting to make the NBA ref look good

Hands to facemask, 10 yard penality, only spotted 5 yards (and no one noticed)
Inside the white line by 3" or better, should have be reviewed to see if it was a TD and the ref said he went out of bounds.

Point of information: it's only reviewed if it's ruled as a TD in the first place. Since he was ruled out of bounds, it wasn't automatically reviewed. Even though instant replay shows that the call on the field was incorrect, the way it was handled was fully consistent with other calls this year and also the rulebook.

If Bill hadn't wasted his challenge on something stupid earlier in the game he could have challenged it. Instead, he was punished for wasting the refs' time. The system works.

(No one will ever, ever get me to feel sympathy for the Patriots. They get what they deserve, even if they don't deserve it.)

Ok, well I'm done with the clowns. I want this to happen, post season.

1) Fire the entire coaching staff. EVERYONE.

2) Trade all the good players to better teams for 6th & 7th round picks (as many as you can get per individual trade)*

3) use those 6th and 7th round picks for low hanging fruit-quality players. It's not like you will have people attending the regular season games...

4) Move the team to England. Just Give the team to England.

5) Give the stadium to Cleveland State University. Maybe they can credit a football program that would actually be better than the Clowns?

6) Cry.

*why? Because those players deserve to be on an actually competitive team, not a low quality college team.

If you told me at the beginning of the season that the Ravens would be the #1 Seed and Lamar Jackson would be the MVP frontrunner, I would tell you to lay off the weed.

I knew Lamar would be special, but he's playing at an MVP level already? At age 22? It's hard to believe. Win or lose the Super Bowl, if they even make it there, it's been one hell of a fun ride so far! 8)

One of the guys in my fantasy league took him as the back-up to Mahomes and played Lamar the first week because...Dolphins. Patrick Mahomes didn't start a game in our fantasy league. How crazy is that?

I don't want to take too much away from him but Seattle's riddled with injuries and it showed. He probably would have still had a respectable game even if that wasn't the case but I doubt the game would have been that one sided.

Marshawn Lynch has been re-signed by Seattle.

I'm a little torn as it was pretty obvious toward the end of his time at Seattle that he was having trouble going as much as Seattle needed plus add in the offensive line is worse last time he played Seattle even before injuries reduced it to what it is now and I fear it'll mean jack squat.

On the other hand it is freaking Beast Mode. Can you imagine how insane it'll be in Seattle if he has a break away run for a TD again? Beast Quake 3.0 for sure.

Though an outside contender, the Bungles have won the Tank for Tua sweepstakes. I find it amusing that the squad and coaching staff on FishTank actually put together a respectable run in the second half of the season to foil the best efforts of management. Washington played roughly to form - but look out for the surprisingly bad Motor City Kitties to swoop in and snatch the second seed.

The prize - a quarterback with four surgeries in two years! Maybe that d lineman from Ohio state is looking more appealing...

On the winners’ side of the bracket AFC is more or less set up except the six seed, which as usual has three team scenarios that look a lot like a geometric proof. KC will have to play well in case the pats slip on another 17 point banana peel

1 BAL
2 NE (KC with win / pats loss)
3 KC (or HOU win / KC loss)
4 HOU (or KC)
5 BUF
6 probably TEN but maybe PIT. OAK if shit goes bananas

The real action is in the NFC where it seems like only the vikes know their plans for next weekend.

SF - with win
GB - with win and SF loss
NO - with win and SF, GB losses
SEA - with win vs SF and GB loss

2 - one of the above
3 - one of the above
4 - PHI with win or DAL with win and eagles loss

OAK getting in is not impossible, but is highly improbable. I prefer that my Broncos be the final arbiter of Oakland's fate and beat them with a last second FG to send them packing to Lost Wages.

No. They have to go to Arrowhead, where the Chiefs will win by 3+ TDs again.

The thing is that I don't want the Faiders going to the playoffs. I want to crush their playoff hopes and the tears in their eyes as the Broncos walk off the field triumphantly. Additionally it denies the Chiefs the opportunity of doing the same. It's a win-win for a Bronco fan. Plus we finish 4-1 with Lock as QB.
