Somerset maybe, but c'mon no RasDom?  :'(
I guess I'll resend that email I made a long time ago inquiring about this.

How about Republic sub-faction symbols?  I've been asking for at least 5 years.

Funny as I have requested the RotS sub factions repeatedly and have been told they are on the list and provided the artwork and have never been asked to "sponsor" the design.  I would gladly pay in advance for a sheet of each.

Did you look in the separate Dark Age section of the website?

Still no VI Legio. Sad Zug. I guess I'll have to look into sponsoring.

We haven't done RotS sub-units yet, in either standard or Mwda sized sheets. I'll have a little more information to post later.

Interesting since I am looking at getting some today.

Can anyone tell me, though, how difficult these decals are to use?

They are extremely easy and the best quality.  Once I saw one that was printed off set but FPG fixed it quickly.

I highly recommend them if they have what you are looking for!

I picked up some Drac and Ghost Bear Clan decals at a GenCon long ago, still using them and never had any troubles.

Thanks for the reviews, gents.  I'm excited.  I only recently learned how to dry brush and black wash, and am currently in the process of looking at basing materials.  I figured decals were the final step.

I assume they are peel and stick?

No, they're waterslide decals. You cut the individual decal off the sheet, dip it in water until you can slide it off the paper, and then apply it to the mini. There's more details to make them look REALLY good, but that's the gist of it.

Micro Set and Micro Sol (google 'em!) are setting solutions that can help in application.  I recommend them highly!

I've found them totally unnecessary.  Just a plain gloss varnish followed by a Matte spray and they look perfect, IMO.  Unlike GW decals which no matter what it seems like they either set correctly or they don't(even on 'Eavy Metal models).

I think it was the sub units within the Republic that the request was for. They don't have those yet.

*shrug*  I found when I did as much (water, decal, dullcote) they scratched off pretty easily on contact with things gamers have, like skin/fingers.  Of course, this was ten years ago and the quality of decals in general (save GW's transparent outlines) have gotten better.

Micro set and Microsol are not necessary, just like you don't have to primer the mini. If you want to make sure your decal with settle down into the crevices and not have what is termed as "silvering" you would be advised to use these products or others that perform the same function.
Silvering is air trapped under the decal. Just my 2 cents.

Perhaps correct the spelling of "Amaterasu" under the Dark Age factions?  "Ameratsu" is incorrect.

PM me your order and I'll see that Brian gets it. Your emails may have fallen in a spam-black hole (I know I have to check my spam filter regularly and find emails in there, but many seem to get caught by the server and don't even get to us).

Which is why FPG needs to setup a halfway decent web store with a shopping cart setup for PayPal.  Very simple and will improve business.
