Is that how it works? I've always played it as frenzy attacks being the same as physical attacks dealt by 'Mechs, so damage/10, round up. If Protos deal their full damage to infantry units...then yeah, the B-Qs suddenly become a lot worse.
BEN ROME YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD, I READ YOUR BOOK!
I always took this to be the foreshadowing of something big; damn conspiracy theory hat. ::)
Paul has it right. It's tonnage/5 (round up) as the base Frenzy damage. Proto Melee Weapon System adds another tonnage/5 (round up) * 2. Then its +1 for EDP against infantry (+2 against cybernetically enhanced infantry). Feralize doubles it on top of that.
Well yeah, I completely understand that. What I'm wondering is if that total damage gets divided by 10 or not. It's not a burst-fire weapon, so no bonuses there, but does that make it a direct fire attack? Or does it fall under another category, kinda like vibro-clawed BA?
The solution is just ignore Paul.
Savannah Masters are the Pringles of Battletech.
Ooo! OOOOOOO! That was a bad one!...and I liked it.
Does the Taser Armour also include the chance to fry oneself?
