I spotted the Pereh and wanted to make rules for them in Battletech.  There most likely something better out there to fit this load out but I like it.

Most likely made by a middle of no where planet that didn't want to buy brand name equipment so they made their own.  This way they can sell it and keep all the profits.

As to putting an ER Large Laser on a vehicle powered with a fuel cell powerplant, why not just use an LB-10X autocannon?   Get rid of the heat sinks and power amplifier, and you won't lose a lot of the range from the laser plus you'd have the capability of loading cluster ammunition.

In pure gaming sense, the Laser is an non-opium option.  I was keeping the Laser because if all else fails with logistics, it still can fight from a lore stand point.

Try Thunderbolt missiles. Too bad you can't get NARC homers for blind IDF.

Replace the ERLL with a standard LL and you have the 3 tons for the heavier TB5s.

If you wanted something close to the original you could go with a small AC and a big T-Bolt launcher instead...

If you don't worry too much about endurance a LAC/5 should fit together with a TB/20. :)

Should be pointed out that the Pereh's gun is a fake, meant to keep people from really noticing the difference in turrets.  It's still got its machine guns of course, but the Spike launcher's the only major armament.  It's designed for local precision artillery; based on that i'd scrap the gun and put an Arrow in the turret, or else a Thunderbolt-20.

For a low tech/succession wars version you could take a Scorpion or Vedette and replace the AC-5 with an LRM-15, for the Bulldog it could swap the laser for an LRM-20 and keep the SRM-4s. Who needs a Hunter Missile Tank.
