On the pre crash forums, the thread authors were listed alongside the links for said thread.

In the post crash forums, however, we don't know which poster started which thread until we actually open the thread.

Is it possible to see the author of a thread without having to open the thread?

You mean like where it says "Started by ______" right under the thread title?
