Age 79, lung cancer is a bitch.

I remember him best from DS9 of course, but he was always loved on other shows like Boston Legal. Damn shame.
-
damn...
Another DS9er we won't get to see reprise in any future STO content.
-
So very sad that he passed. My favorite from DS9

*snip*
That it is... got both of my wife's parents, and only one of them ever smoked...
-
So who going to be the third :'(
-
I'm more than a little worried about my wife... she quit smoking before we got married, but not a day goes by she doesn't WANT a cigarette...
-
Im truly sad. My grandfather on my mothers side died (25 years ago) from the same cancer at the same age and a full year before I got into recon cavalry branch in the army. He would be proud. Damn disease.
RIP Rene.

good CGI and voice box won't stop death (it apparently will raise James Dean from the dead)…
I believe he led a decent life. Lots of stuff he did... and he was a Grand Father, too. He'll be missed but with the evil invention, YoutubeTM, he'll never be forgotten... hopefully. Some of the millennials I've met in my travels seem to use their INT and WIS as dump stats...

So who going to be the third :'(
DC Fontana
Robert Walker Jr
Rene is the third
-
RIP :(
-
Farewell Rene, as you return to the Great Link for good.
Cheers, Gabe
-
Oh man, what a shame. Rest in Peace!

I saw him first in "My best friend is a vampire".
There he was the cool teacher to a newbie vampire. I liked it.
But sadly we all get older.
So, RIP Mr Auberjonois.
And thanks for the funny time I had while watching your movies etc.

He died of metastatic lung cancer
Sorry.
I saw one of the last Pictures of him and he looked very old and frail.
-
Cancer will do that to you...
-
:'( RIP . I' am going to miss him love him most the movie he in. I like him in ST DS9 and preacher in the The Patriot. What a bummer.
-
To be fair he was also practically 80; anyone who DOESN'T look frail at that age is impressive. (Looking at you, Shatner) But yeah, cancer was known as "the wasting disease" for a long time for good reason.
-
Damn, just damn...
Now who'll keep Quark in check?
TT
