I have a confession: I have always been a Davion fanboy. Therefore, the Stuka has always been a favorite. I had this model for almost 30 years, but finally got paint on it. I based it on concept art by Chris Foss for the Jodorowsky Dune movie that was never made.
The model is well-sculpted with deep details for taking a wash, but unfortunately lacks the weapons that should be there. I love most of the old sculpts, but when the Stuka's time comes -- if it ever does -- a redesign will serve it well. Maybe along the lines of the Plog art from AeroTech 2.
It feels good to be working through my piles of shame -- it is a pretty tall pile -- and to experiment with fun colors. Now I just need to figure out where to store the mini.
