Yoshio Kawamura is listed as commanding officer of the 2nd Free Worlds Guards and 1st Marik Protectors at the same time.

This seems a bit odd. Can this be confirmed?

If a mistake, and taking into account other books, who is the commander of the 2nd Free Worlds Guards?

Its an error. FM:3085 p89 states the 2nd Free World's Guards are Duke Photon Brett-Marik's personal unit.

A request though pserrat; if you have future questions please can you list references. Searching across 35 years of canon isn't the easiest task without being able to narrow the search.
