I am proud of this one. I think it is my best design. I love the look of the Aerie but I do not like its loadout :) problem solved!

==Overview:==
The Clans Enki-Ea Eridu was an ancient city in the extreme south
of Babylonia; situated in the marshy regions it was held sacred to
the god Enki-Ea who ruled the cosmic domain of the Abyss

Clan scientists successfully deployed the Space Ops Adaption on
the Aerie PA(L). With the lightest of armor and no integral
weapons the next logical question was could this enhancement be
used in other places? The clans typically use Solahma troops to
form their space marines. These units may also can be equipped with
centuries old battle armor.

The state of each clan is different. Some reside only on the home
worlds, some only in the inner sphere, some both. In the early
part of the invasion space defense was less of a concern. The inner
sphere had no warships and the rapid advance of the clans negated
the need for many defensive thinking in space combat.

However events have made the clans think differently. The explorer
corps nearly captured Pivot Prime and task force serpent was able
to successfully perform boarding action clan ships. It was decided
that a platform for space superiority was essential for ongoing
defense.

Starting with Aerie design, an important focus was to keep the
Space Operation Adaption and motive systems. Jumping 120 meters
and improved foot speed accomplish this goal. Two armored gloves
allow full dexterity for a wide array of 0-G operations including
repairs on delicate systems like satellites. To round out the
usefulness of the armor in the void of space it mounts both a
cutting torch and a search light.

It was also important for the unit to be combat capable. It
carries a micro-pulse laser and a light machine gun. While not an
exorbitant amount of firepower it is efficient and accurate. It
is particularly effective against infantry even without counting
the fact it can mount anti-infantry weapons in either hand. It is
also capable of performing anti-mech leg and swarm attacks.

One of the drawbacks of light battle armor is the plating is
unable to stop fierce clan weaponry. There is no easy answer
here, as the design dictated needing two fully actuated hands.
Moving up to a medium class armor would have been possible, but
then the unit would loose swarm capability.
Still the design can stop the clan er-small laser, and it employs
stealth armor to help it stop weapons by avoiding them entirely.

The Enki-Ea fills a niche as a mobile combat capable light armor
while being ideally suited space operation.

After some careful consideration I decided to change this design up. First, 5 points are armor. Yes this is a light design, but the problem:
1) the clans are already fielding multiple designs with 5 points or armor (slyth, afreet, void).
2) mlas

I really wanted to keep two armored gloves for the "feeling of being able to work on equipment in space." I did some digging and the vibro-blades are often described as retractable or used in combination with another actuator type. Looking at the Afreet you can see distinct hands. It is hard to tell if they are 4 fingered or 5 fingered. I decided to go with a single Vibro Claw. There is some argument that dexterity could be lower, but hey you should not be touching electronics with two hands anyway.

We moved the armor up to 7 points basic stealth. Now from a naval standpoint this unit is pretty awesome.

The only drawback is that the Unit has to squad mount the light mgun.
