I would go with the trial of possession. Considering what is known about the Clans post Tukayyid. I think you need to exploit the Clans rigid view on war. Plus could you not include a clause to allow safe passage out of Clan territory???? Even with a successful smash and grab raid you might have great difficulty getting away. You are deep in Clan territory. Yes you arrived via surprise, but getting home might be much more difficult. They could be highly motivated to recover your spoils....
So the problem there is you are mercs & the Falcons are quite likely to laugh at your offer, deny you safecon & attack w/ their full force as your dezgra.
Based on the size of the unit Colt mentioned, anything over a Trinary of clan tech on defense is likely to put a serious hurt on his unit.
God forbid there is a full Cluster stationed there.
He also stated they don't have intel on what is there so it could be nothing more than a Star of PBI infantry to a full Front Line Cluster or 2, you just don't know.
Honestly, I wouldn't even take a contract w/o having seriously better intel on the planet.
Best bet, go in stealth raid & hope you don't find more than you can handle w/ only a reinforced battalion at your disposal.
