The Mechanized Infantry Transport Bay (TM, p.239), shows that an 8-ton Infantry Bay may be used to transport 5-7 Mechanized troopers. The weight (TM, p.155) for each Mechanized trooper is 1 ton with a minimal of 5 troopers being needed. This makes a minimal transport weight of 5 tons.
1) May one Small Support Vehicle (TM, p.117), which weighs 4999 kg or less, be transported within a Mechanized Infantry Bay? It should be noted that the RRV Rock Rover half-track (TRO:VAR, p.30) is an official vehicle that is used for Mechanized Infantry transport and it weighs 4000 kg.
2) If a Small Support Vehicle is able to be transported within a Mechanized Infantry Bay, do you use the rules for Infantry Carriers (TW, p.223) to mount and dismount the Small Support Vehicle?
