Overview:
The GHOST (unidentified hostile G-77454) is an, as yet, unconfirmed VTOL but
reports have rolled in from various battlefields surrounding a new kind of
enemy recon VTOL. Lurking on the very edge of battlefields these GHOST VTOLs
are the suspected source of small, hypervelocity rounds most likely from a
light Gauss Rifle.
So far we have failed to get a good look at the unit but we have confirmed the
presence of a VTOL and an ASF flyby spotted a long belly mounted extrusion that
could easily be a large ballistic weapon. Despite them being extremely
slippery to our sensors we have managed to track one travelling at over 150 kph
which makes it a match for even our fastest gunships. We have made some
suppositions about their technical capabilities and included it in this file.
We estimate that given time and money to fully develop the design we could
build units with a comparable performance envelope but the cost would be a
substantial 15 million per unit as we would need to use an extremely expensive
XXL engine and state of the art stealth technology
