I'll start with a weird IS Omni I'm working on currently. It's meant to carry a mixture of 5.5 and 11 ton handhelds. The combination of TSM and a Torso-mounted cockpit is tricky, but necessary I think.
Almost all of the pod space is in the head and legs, and it is CRAMPED. The head is equipped with a turret and 4 free slots, so it is excellent for PPCs et al.

The MouseHound is intended to be a deployed in units of 3 MouseHounds per lance, with a 75 ton C3 master taking the 4th slot. Purely a special operations mech.

Why not have a config with C3M?

Simply don't have 5 free crts together. I can shuffle the base design though. Will do.

Why not put the C3 slave in the torso? It doesn't need to be in the leg to operate and if you're using handheld weapons (HHW) then your torso is blocked anyway. Moving it would let you put in another 2 slot weapon, like an SRM or MML.

Looking to expand into the industrial and security markets at the same time, company X designed the Die-Hard Industrial Mech.
The Die-Hard a 60 ton 'Mech using a cheap 180 rated standard fusion engine, which came primary from upgraded light Mechs. For protection it is covered with 12 tons of standard armor.
The Die-Hard is enhanced with Industrial TSM and an Advanced FCS. The primary trademark of the 'Mech are the cargo bays. Each side torso has a standard cargo bay capable of holding 12 tons. The standard industrial task of the Die-Hard is to function as a flexible cargo transport. When it has to function as a security Mech, the cargo bays can be re-purposed as holsters for hand-held weapons.

That shotgun is wrong, I get 14 tons. LGauss weights in at 12 tons alone. But a better version might be a LB-5 with 2 tons ammo as a Longslide version.
" Ithaca " Sawed-off double barrel LAC/5. ( 2x LAC/5, 1 ton ammo (20) and 1 ton armor.
" Taser gun " 2x Mech Taser with 1 ammo and 1 armor ton. Why 2 and 1 ammo? Standard police tasers have a two-prong taser, so twice the " jerk " ? O:-)
Plus if you assign a half ton as armor and another half ton as a " clip pod "...
Also what about a " Riot Shield "? Complegte with optional searchlight... and a light mace as that all important " Nightstick "?
