Build A Land Train

The link below is the best Sci Fi land train artwork I have ever seen.

So what would you design to match this great artwork?

Wow!  That is very nice... and I daresay almost big enough to be a mobile structure.  It's too close to bed time for me to design anything tonight, but I may take a crack at it tomorrow...

Nice Daryk.

My first thought was a mobile structure too but the Mars train does look a little small for that.

My second thought was a 160 ton wheeled combat vehicle to cover the trailer and use a lift hoist for an extra 80 tons of cargo. But I think that will be in the 15-20 million c-bill range.

I need to do some number crunching.

Eh, I wouldn't say it's the best land train picture ever.  The wheel arrangement is totally unsuitable for offroad use.

Land train doesn't necessarily mean off-road; more like dirt road to me, a la Trans-Africa Highway system.

Well it's clearly in the desert.
