I actually liked it. It was arcade battletech, more than MWO was-split screen versus was nice.

Yeah, it appears to be based on one of the covers of the novel Blood Legacy, which also featured an oddly shaped direwolf fending off jumping Timberwolfs.

What I gathered: Roc paid Roger Loveless for a rush job and no one bothered showing Robert any art of the Dire Wolf other than the front profile.



I honestly thought it was a Thunderbolt on the cover when I first saw it because everyone new what a Dire Wolf looked like in 1995 (Well, almost everyone)
