Ironhold or we riot!  ;D

Yeah, but it'll be a Quiet Riot.

And then let us hope they take the party to Bearclaw!

I'm reading TtS Mizar and I'm laughing my ass off at the name of the Western Alliance JumpShip that suffered the fatal misjump.

There are six Starter Box Mechs that have not been put out in lance packs. I was wondering if we'll ever see them in such formats?

One makes some sense: The Assassin is described as rare and falling into disuse in TRo '39.

But, the Hunchback? And the Enforcer is a Davion staple next to the JagerMech.

So, anything on that front?

To both questions? Interesting.

Well, considering I don't necessarily want to have to go out and buy another starter box, I'll have to be very careful with which of the 5/6 teams it goes into.

The FLGS I go to is having real problems getting BT stuff.

IWM won't reply to the store requesting a retail account, the distributors only list a fraction of the models made by IWM(and are out of stock on most of those), and the lance packs that have been relied upon to provide a reliable means of getting some models are dropping like flies - hard to find them in stock in the last few months.

We're trying to keep a Solaris 7 tournament going to draw in new people but when people order stuff, most of it is out of stock.  I heard TW was even difficult to get.  We're all excited for something from CGL, be it the streamlined manual to replace the relatively clunky TW book, or boxed sets to provide reliable access to models.

Tell your FLGS to keep trying with IWM for the retail account, it took me over 6 months to get it organised.

My flag has to order directly from IWM because the distributors are either not carrying them or aren't reliable enough.  They do somehow get CGL products so it's not all bad.

Thanks for the feedback - kicked the info upstairs, so hopefully that'll help the IWM situation.  Any thoughts on the best distributor for CGL stuff?  Not being able to get the main rulebook is a pretty big problem when we're in the middle of dragging a bunch of new guys in

While I think it may be a little early to start dropping teasers for The Second Succession War, I did post this in another thread here.

I haven't purchased any of the touring the stars products because I don't know how I'd use them in my games of Battletech. What sort of information is in them besides planetary history/fluff?

Well they still need to find the Opera House.

It was in Sydney before it was blown up.

The right line is... "There must be some kind of way out of here. There's to much confusion. I can't get no relief." It's not an opera house on Terra we're concerned with ><

Well they still need to find the Opera House.

The one where Hector and Vector were performing?
"We have made of New Avalon a towering funeral pyre and wiped the Davion scourge from the universe.  Tikonov, Chesterton and Andurien are ours once more, and the cheers of the Capellan people nearly drown out the gnashing of our foes' teeth as they throw down their weapons in despair.  Now I am made First Lord of the Star League, and all shall bow down to me and pay homa...oooooo! What was the last news concerning TRO Golden Century? "No news"?

I ask because i've been doing research. The TRO's potential for Battle Armor is especially interesting, thanks to stuff in TRO3058 and battle armor tech dates listed in Interstellar Operations.
I calculated there's potential for at least 8 suits based on existing information, though this number is unlikely since about half would be likely mere prototypes.

Also wonder if there's any chance we'll get a Clan conventional fighter.  Amusingly, there's nothing forbidding a Clan CF but we have never gotten any. MUL lists Specter Surveillance Plane as a Clan CF but that only appeared in Jade Phoenix trilogy (Kael Pershaw observed the battle on Tukayyid from one). I was thinking perhaps we'll get stats for that thing...
