WiP: How to make a Seeker Hawk LAM
« on: 01 April 2020, 01:06:52 »
Bear in mind, I'm doing this totally unscripted, and undocumented, with whatever I have in my bits box.

Here is a photo montage of how I made a Seeker Hawk LAM,

Parts needed:
Freshly de-winged MechBuster
(Save the canards for your Seeker custom, they go on the legs for accuracy.)
Hussar arms and legs
PP Phoenix Hawk jump jets
Med laser and MG cluster you removed from your previous Seeker project
Spare Marauder feet from a previous project.
(We just need the toes.  Remove them and clean up any leftover metal to fashion a decent foot.
Styrene rods and bars
(Needed to fill out parts and make details like heels and greebling
paper clips, super glue, pin vise, saws and metal files for pinning and assembly.
Other random bits to detail up the kit.

I originally started out to just make a 3rd Seeker, but decided midway through to make a decent looking Phoenix Hawk LAM .

Since the jet form is a bit smaller than mech, I went with smaller and thinner parts to approximate scaling.  The arms and legs for the airmech are a simple add-on for looks purposes.

Absolutely outstanding, and I'll be saving this to try later.
