Hi all!
I wonder, as Alpha Strike is supposed to be released tomorrow, if it could be an appropriate forum section for this promising game to avoid peoples creating thread in many places.
Just a suggestion through. O0

not a bad one, though that kind of thing takes some time to implement.
at the moment, TPTB have suggested most discussions could go into the Ground combat section of the forum..

I added an official rules forum for Alpha Strike.
http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php/board,100.0.html
Any informal discussion should go to Ground Combat and Aerospace Combat, depending on the topic.

Fixed it, thanks.

Should the Strategic Games section be updated to include AlphaStrike as well since it has Quick Strike ?

No. There's several differences between the rules in SO and AlphaStrike. Making that distinction should be slightly less confusing.

Is it normal I can't reply to threads in Alpha Strike here:
http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php/board,100.0.html
But I can create new ones. Bizarre. :(

Correct, that's how all Rules Forums are set up. You cannot respond to other people's threads, only your own. The point of it is to ask questions and get official responses, not to start a discussion.
if you'd like to start a discussion, we'd like you to use these:

Oops, my bad, I was thinking this was only for Answer the Dev/Writers. :)
