Reposing a Naginata
« on: 01 September 2013, 07:42:05 »
I just started to reposing a Naginata and I regretted having done so.
I split the torso from the legs and at teh same time I split the two legs too.
The problem is that I have completely eliminated the details from the central torso and now I will have to draw on all my limited capacity of sculptor. #P
Soon I'll post some pics.

Here are the pics.
I believe that now is the hardest part.
I'll see what I am capable of doing.

It looks good so far! Can't wait to see how it looks when you finish reposing and filling in the gaps. Good luck.  O0

Some progress.
The green stuff is dried and now I have no more excuses I'll have to try my hand at sculpting what I destroyed with the saw.(after a little nap 'cause I slept barely 3 hours last night)
What do you think? Legs are more distant from the emitorso and give it a slimmer profile and less clumsy IMO.
Who would have ever immagined a Naginata with a torso twist? ^-^
