eSATA External Drives
« on: 07 March 2018, 17:35:26 »
I've got a Synology DS411Slim NAS that's hitting its limit for external storage, but it does have an eSATA port for an external drive. However, all the external eSATA drives of useful size (over 4TB) seem to be fitted with their own brains. Are there any simple eSATA external drive enclosures that can handle a big drive?

Just thought i'd add- i've used a few rosewill external drive..... enclosures? cases? and never had any problems with them.

aside from the problem where people borrow them and then i never seem to get them back. but that's hardly a manufacturing error.
