Title: Thinking of getting AToW

How easy is it to restrict your options to 3025 era of play?

Is it primarily geared towards the post Jihad era?

Thanks

Fairly easy.  Era Report: 3052 has some older affiliation module tweaks (e.g. pre-Schism ComStar), but most of them apply as written.

I ran my first campaign in 3029 and I didn't really change anything. I just restricted players from picking Clans or Comstar/Word of Blake. It really is open enough that you could play any era, but I do love how they put AToW rules in the Era Reports and Historicals! I'm patiently awaiting the AToW Companion Volume as well! :D

It's quite easy.  For example every piece of equipment is listed with availability by era.  For example the current date in our campaign is March 16th, 3011.  So all our gear purchases use the "succession wars" availability column.
