Hi everyone. I've started to aquire a respectable amount of bits, and I'm thinking about putting some of 'mechs from the Solaris VII boxed set and Unbound together. I was wondering if anyone here has attempted to cobble together these 'mechs? If so, what bits did you guys use?
For instance, I'm thinking of building the Wildfire using Crusader legs, a Dart or Fireball torso, and the lower arm or a Trebuchet for the lasers. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

I've customized the Wildfire using the PP Crusader and the Prometheus from basic omni parts. I just customized the original layout for the Ronin as well. I'll have pics up in a day or so.

Please do. I'm curious to see it.

They aren't art perfect, and I probably should revisit the Wildfire to properly represent the torso mounted cockpit as well.
They match the stats at least, but you have some good ideas on kitbashing the Wildfire properly.

What is that Vulture/Thor/Loki frankenmech?

Prometheus, probably.

Bingo. The Wildfire and Prometheus I had kitbashed a long time ago and before we had so many available parts and I was just starting to kitbash seriously.
Prometheus, probably.

I like it 8)

On reflection, I realize the Wildfire proxy is all wrong in terms of loadout on the mini I made. So here's a SA-RN Ronin I kitbashed using the body of the current mini, a spare PP Phoenix Hawk head, the Firebee laser instead of the stock arm and the SRMs from the Hound and a Crossbow.
I'll definately be remaking a proper Wildfire now thanks to this thread.

Hi everybody,
Nice Solaris stuff, well done!
:)
In this link, you can see my version of Prometheus, finally painted by my good friend Uriel from Nadir Point Spanish Forum.

Just finished my Wildfire 2.0. The Fireball torso looks good on it, but you need to build up the lower torso portion to give the body some height. I kept the original waist and added some putty and styrene for bulk.
Working on a 3rd now using the Dart as the main body, but in retrospect, I should have gone for a Duan Gung.
