Capellan Modern Battlemech Tech Date

In the Age of War era report (p. 11) the introduction of Modern Technology by the Capellans is given as 2524.  In Primitives Vol 2 (p. 16) it is given as 2504.  Which is correct?

With the Koschei first being produced in 2504, it would appear to be that year.
