When TW and TM came out and fractional accounting was squashed it was my understanding that old designs from 3026 that used fractional accounting would still be legal to use in tournament level play.  They would be "grandfathered" in as it were.  With the advent of TRO 3039 there are new versions of the same models that don't use fractional accounting.

For example in TRO 3026 the Warrior H-7 Attack Helicopter used fractional accounting and had a 10/15 movement profile.  In TRO 3039 there is a version of the same H-7 model that does not use fractional accounting and has a 9/14 movement profile.

Would it be fair to say that both versions are tournament legal or does the newer revision invalidate or "overwrite" the older version.

Thank you.

With the release of TRO3039, Tournament Legal versions of all those units were provided. At that time the TRO3026 stats were replaced and no longer valid for Tournament or "Canon" use. They are not official stats any longer.

Players who wish to use the TacOps fractional accounting rules, could use these stats for play, provided all parties agree.
