(Answered) Mud and Skill Rolls
« on: 12 December 2024, 10:02:25 »
on Page 48 of TacOps under MUD the rules state:

Quote
Apply a +1 MP cost to enter a mud hex, as well as a +1 modifier
to all Driving Skill Rolls made while in that hex.

Now, I know the Simplified Rules in BMM are just that...simplified, but I am hoping they should at least be similar and are simplified in that they refer only to 'Mechs in BMM with no mention of other types...so...

On page 61 of BMM the rules state:

Quote
PSRs: Entering a mud hex forces a Piloting Skill Roll. All PSRs
made in a hex with mud (including the PSR made when entering
one) apply a +1 Target Number modifier.

So, my question is...with regards to TacOps, should the +1 modifier be reworded to be Piloting/Driving Skill Modifier?

The TacOps entry should be reworded in that way, yeah.
