The last version was 2.3.2.1941 according to the .exe still on my drive.  Sake got tired of working on AT1 and stopped altogether.  The last I read he was working on something else that was not related to Mechwarrior before the old forums closed.

No, Assault Tech was a completely stand-alone game that MekTek was working on at one point.
