I think I may have picked the wrong Dragoon 'Mech. The history is scattered and confusing. The Hoplite did get a C upgrade from the Dragoons, and a Royal upgrade from the Clans.

A look at the fluff in Klondike could be helpful.

 I like both Klondike versions and the C is nice.

They need a proper family tree to put it all together. Indeed with the fleshed out 2600 to 2800 many 'Mechs need to be made clear when they are SLDF/Clan upgrades or post 3050 upgrades.

Well, what I suggested would not have been too hard for the Invaders to do IMO.  Of course that might be why I suggested it.

 I would love to see a book like that. Take each mech from their primitive version and show the family tree, in years, ofthe upgrades.
