How many WWII survivors are estimated to still be alive worldwide?

Soon we will only have the history books to remind us of the true horrors of war.

I remember the day the last American WWI veteran died... I went into the local VFW to let them know they should be flying their flag at half mast.

They had huge service for him here in Colorado Springs yesterday. Lots of folks, young and old telling their stories about him.
