Rocketfist: Too many SRMs!

I was trying to put together an IS mech with multiple MMLs in each arm, but it didn't come out as I wanted. So I started to idly wonder if it was possible to fit a six-pack of six-packs on each arm of a mech. Like a Nova Prime but with SRMs. Obviously doesn't work with IS tech, but what about clantech...?

Well, if you go for a Small Cockpit, drop a ton of ammo and rearrange you could fit one... of course, then you have to figure out what to do with that stray ton...  ^-^

Another option to consider is a compact Gyro...  :D

If you made it flip capable, how many extra SRMs could be in the arms?  If say you dropped one or two of the ER larges??

It is totally possible with an IS mech if you don't also carry most of a Supernova's load out as backup weapons.

Here is a Crusader with rocket fists. If you go with classic leg mounts for two of the launchers then it has room to add two more DHS if you're willing to drop the C3 Slave and/or the backup lasers. 3/5/3 with a standard engine and max armor is also an option, but with SRMSs you really need to worry about getting into firing range and I would argue the C3 is also worth the weight if it helps get medium & short range shots to further offset the mediocre mobility.

Nu-uh. Only got halfway. The goal was six SRM6 in each arm! With IS launchers that's 12 crits, can't fit in an arm.

If you made it flip capable, how many extra SRMs could be in the arms?  If say you dropped one or two of the ER larges??
Already removed the actuators unfortunately. :(

I did consider a CG, but given that this wasn't really a serious design anyway I couldn't be bothered to switch tech settings... :P A small cockpit on a 3/5 100-tonner feels just a bit suicidal to me! ;D

Nothing wrong with 4 ER Larges as your main armament and the HS to fire them. Auto Clan CASE is a lifesaver as well (hate that 7th ton of ammo but what can you do), not bad overall. I’d try it (once lol).

By dropping the srms to 4s and going down to 3 erLL, I managed to get it down to 70 tons with endo steel, 4/6 movement, and that extra heat sink.
