Has this been mentioned in character? Doc would absolutely be advocating for the MASH to tag along. Both for QRF to recover any downed pilots and to provide medical aid to any survivors/detained individuals. In addition to the added recon camera and comms gear for added coordination.

It's certainly something that could be advocated for... and the BMRV too, now that it looks like you'll have an SRM-4 to trade...
