(Answered) Combat Vehicle Crew Requirements

In the TechManual, it's stated that a combat vehicle is assumed to have 1 crewman for every 15 tons of vehicle weight. Normally, such a thing isn't tracked. Communications gear, however, says that it requires a crewman for every ton of equipment onboard. Is it necessary to set aside any additional space or weight to make room for the communications crew, or are accommodations assumed to be integral to the equipment itself and the listed crew requirement is simply for logistics in larger campaigns?

Combat vehicles never have to allocate space for extra crew.  They are always assumed to have room for all needed crew members.
