Just to be clear, is that the final product or did you commission a "final" product so to say, meaning there is more to come in regards to that McKenna?
Do you mind telling us what the second commission was and why you commissioned them in the first place? Maybe there is some kind of fan-made product in the works? ;)
Thats the finished product, its a sketch and even that was a tad pricey, but you pay for the artists time and work and he or she is a busy person. Its not for a fan work sadly, its just basically a take on the 2750 art to make it look more modern and perhaps like something we'd build. Adding things like weapon mounts so you can see the turrets and weapon placements (the 2750 art had none) as well as launch bays and dropship docking collars etc.
The 'why' is because I wanted to see these ships given the quality they deserve, for the most part i'm not a fan of the 3057 art, so wanted a modern artists take on the 2750 workings. I don't view old art as sacrosanct, give me this -

The 3057 McKenna is nice, but I wish they'd had that one for the Nightlord's design, its just so radically different to the 2750 art that it looks like a completely different class. But then again all of the 3057 art does that.
I like the 3057 Essex, Aegis, McKenna, Sovietski Soyuz, Liberator and Lola but..lets not get me started on the rest.
The other one is a Black Lion and should be finished soon and there's an unfinished preview below :)
http://i.imgur.com/QXN89Ov.jpgAgain its based in part on the old 2750 art, just made to look more modern and like a spaceship with weapons on it. The main difference being that it's trimmed down so its not so dumpy looking and is more sleek as fitting her battlecruiser title.
