Monsoon Bluewater Bomber
« on: 07 March 2016, 07:00:12 »
After careful consideration Carrion Combat Industries decided the Boeing Jump Bomber and Guardian fighters did not sufficiently serve their needs as an air asset on their Imagineer Support Cruiser Project.  The main issues being lacking sufficient external space to mount even a single Arrow (AAA or Homing) and being incapable of landing on water (an occassional neccesity with a submersible carrier).  Therefore Carrion Combat Industries commissioned the Monsoon Blue Naval Fighter.  With a flight profile in line with the much lighter Guardian fighter, 50% more external carry capacity and internal energy weapons that allow a Monsoon to easily eliminate opposition Boeing and Guardian fighters as well as do effective ground attack missions the Monsoon is a vastly superior aircraft - a lack of armouring still makes ground attacks and dogfighting a risky proposition.
