Sterope Quad Defense Armor
« on: 11 March 2019, 06:28:51 »
Bit of a work in progress here, but I'm toying with the idea of a quad assault suit for the Hell's Horses to compete with all these new-fangled Cuchulainns and Ironholds and Golems they're going up against. Here's what I've got so far.

                                         Slots

That heavy medium gives it one hell of a slap and the mimetic armour makes it an ambush predator.  But it also has NO armour :s  I'd maybe drop the camo system and apply some more armour if possible.
Ghost Bears: Cute and cuddly. Until you remember its a BLOODY BEAR!

The idea is that this posts up in some woods hexes and goes full zone control; between the mimetic armor and the camo system that gives it a +5 to-hit if it doesn't move, and that's not even accounting for the woods' mods or the +1 for being BA...losing that for four points of armor just doesn't seem worth it.

Huh. I thought camo system and mimetic armor wasn't compatible. My design had stealth armor + camo system.

What about a Scout variant?

Add ECM, TAG and 2x HSL with a LRM package to throw some long support?

A pair of Points outfitted with these supporting the standard HML variant in a Star?
