Florida Timbuktu Theatre Militia Lance
« on: 04 September 2020, 21:16:40 »
I've been painting a lance of Florida Timbuktu Theatre Militia mechs recently, they caught my attention in Shattered Fortress and I've always been a sucker for a periphery power. An added plus was that I'd been looking for reasons to pickup a Mjolnir and Eisenfaust for a while and this project gave me the excuse to do so. The Timbuktu Theatre Militia colors were actually a surprising trial to get right, since the white and blue paints I was using refused to behave.

Ground and final cockpit shading are yet to be finished.

The final lance consists of a Bushwacker, a Mjolnir, a Eisenfaust and a Dart.

Not sure if its the lighting or my taste in mechs, but the Bushwacker is my favorite.

Great Mechs!

For more on the Florida TMM, see if you can track down Kevin Killany's BattleCorps stories with the adventures of Lt. Amanda Atreus.

The lighting proved very frustrating to be sure :). I'm glad the Bushwacker came out as good as it did, I had to redo all the white sections after the wash I was using got completely out of control.

Ooooh, I didn't even know these existed, thanks for the heads up about them.
