Direct Combat Light Battle Armor (Design Challenge)

So, one idea I had for an alternate Inner Sphere Battle Armor development path involves Comstar failing to keep the Hurricane PA(L) under wraps, causing PA(L)-scale knock offs to spread throughout the Inner Sphere during the 3040's. After playing with the concept for a few years, the Great Houses decide to produce bigger designs for a direct-combat role, though they'd only be Light BA in size. Anything bigger would be limited to one-offs and suits still under development, though said development is naturally accelerated once the Clans show up.

Design parameters:

Light weight class - Medium and bigger Battle Armor essentially don't exist as far as military planning goes, which makes the Elemental still be a rude shock. They have to expand production for the Lights to hold the line until bigger suits go into production, though the Elemental can still beat them handily one-on-one. It still needs to treat the IS Standard as a legitimate upgrade, after all.

No BA weapons from past 3060 - These are the early days of BA design, so what many would consider "standard" options in later eras don't exist yet.

Check out what I posted to Cannonshop's last BA thread.  Infantry weapons can be carried by any suit with Armored Gloves, which are permitted for Light BA.  6 points of Basic Stealth gives you enough survivability and space to mount a Light Machine Gun or two, and Sniper Rifles (Bartons, of course) cover you at ridiculous range.  If you want more close range damage, just pick up an Auto Grenade Launcher instead.

LMGs are, for no good reason, 3067 tech. 

My offering is a little more Vancian.  Every morning the Wizard prepares up to two kinds of SRM ammo in 6 slots...  Or if you want to be boring you can load HE in both arms.  The anti-infantry gun is in a hands free mount so the armored gloves can be put to use casting Move Earth (material component: a normal infantry entrenching tool) or open/close (somatic component: turn door knob) or other dark sorceries that would require someone in a Tornado suit to set down their gun.

I'd rather have 2MP and another missile for each launcher, but I like the idea. :)

I very much agree that LMGs are 3067 tech for no good reason!  You can always substitute the various Gauss Rifles or a regular MG.
