Designed as a cheap and compact option for providing some heavy firepower to early colonies (2150). Generally succeeded by the Hetzer Wheeled Assault Gun, but then reintroduced in 3100 to help sell mothballed Rifle Cannons, with most going to heavy police forces and Deep Periphery states.

It's cheap, but still TL D... if you have that tech, why not 'mechs?  ???

Strange, I can't find the thing that makes it TL D.

But it is build as a Support Vehicle, so MML is getting mixed up?

Also, TL D covers a huge range of technologies developed over hundreds of years. That's kind of like saying that since the IBM System/360 is TL B, IBM should have skipped over it and started making 486s in the 1960s.

Hmmm... MML doesn't slap a "Support" label on it anywhere.  That SHOULD work as a Support Vehicle.
