Snow Raven naval battles?
« on: 31 January 2011, 02:19:21 »
So there seem to be quite a few Snow Raven players around....  ???

I'm looking for some canon warship engagements with CSR, with Fedcom, Draconis or WoB.

Were there any? and where would I find them?  :-\

I think a Snow Raven Naval Star was lent to the Ghost Bears in their drive into the Blake Protectorate. It must have engaged in some battles, especially considering a Thera was captured, according to JHS: Terra.

And maybe some minor engagements with the Dracs in the early Jihad era, but I don't know.

Most recently, according to Jihad Hot Spots: Terra, the Ravens were a part of the mostly clan force that took the Titan ship yards.

Do we know what ships were involved?

The Ravens donated Ark Royal, Blue Quest, Corvidae, and Drake to the assault on Titan, alongside 1 Lyran, 1 Combine, 2 Ghost Bear, 5 Jade Falcon and 1 Wolf ship.  The forces assaulting Terra consisted of ComStar, Lyran, FedSuns, combine, Nova Cat, Diamond Shark and Ghost Bear ships.

Thanks!

So that would be:

Ark Royal Conqueror-class Battle Cruiser
Blue Quest Aegis-class Heavy Cruiser
Corvidae York-class Destroyer
Drake Whirlwind-class Destroyer

Do we know what the other attackers & the WoB fleet consisted of

So that Clans were allowed to use their WarShips in the Sol system, but not allowed to land troops?

JHS: Terra lists all the WarShips brought in-system by the Coalition.  There's no solid list for what WoB had in system - we know they had an Avalon and Farragut in Terran orbit, 3 Naga SDS command ships and a metric buttload of SDS Drones, plus a number of Dragon's Teeth/Meggido weapons platforms.

Where is the most recent list of Wob controlled ships?

The WoB WarShips at Titan are listed in one of the articles in JHS:Terra, page 98-99.

Pretty much...there is a snippit about General Belle Lee getting torqued off at Khan Kabrinsky for not sending in reinforcements. Apparently the Ghost Bear Khan...just couldn't..

Neg,  its a Star Admiral that refuses to use Bear Warships to glass WoB locations on "Holy" Terra.

Clan Warships were allowed in system and ground troops could be used anywhere but the soil of Terra, that way the whole ilClan/Khan issue was avoided.

As a random tangent, who is Bella Lee ?
Do we have here in fiction/sourcebooks before she was Stone's XO ?

Sarna Net has an article on her. Says she used to be an AFFS officer.

To be precise, the Deathblow, Narbonne, and Manchester. The rest of the Titan fleet was fighters, and Caspar II drones.

Is that smaller or larger than an Imperial Buttload?  :D

Metric's always bigger than Imperial for equivelantly named measurements.

so noted...therefore a metric can of whoopass is greater than an imperial can!

Any particular unit ?   Maybe I will pull up FM:U and scan all the commanding officers.

It says the New Syrtis militia. *shrugs* I don't own any of the Jihad books (yet), so this is my only source (besides Roosterboy, but I'm too lazy to issue a Rooster call).

Well she wasn't one of the brigade commanders per FM:U but I didn't really think she would be.
I don't have FM:FS for a more thourough look at the unit since they sometimes list off lesser officers.
