Banwathe Buccaneers (Pirate Band)

the "Buccaneers" are a collection of young, largely inexperienced Pirate Mechwarriors from the periphery world of Banwathe, they pilot customized Battlemechs that are more a collection of Salvaged Parts and By-pass kits held together with Gaffer Tape and Willpower, Calan Loch is the most skilled of the bunch being roughly equal to a Regular grade Mechwarrior and the only one with any form of Tactical or Technical training, he grew up in a Militia family that sidelined in Banditry, Merc Work and Bounty Hunting, along the way he picked up a third rate Mechwarrior Apprenticeship that he refined in to a useful skill, he pilots a customized Shadow Hawk that replaces the AC5 for a large laser and enlarges the Missile Launchers. Ella Banick the next most skilled originally from a region of the planet that make the Boondocks look positively Cosmopolitan, she competes in Death Match Pit-fights both in and out of her custom Wolverine, and lastly the least skilled "Red" a girl who grew up on the streets of one of Banwathe's Freeports had has bean practicing Petty Theft, Murder and engaging in Prostitution since her Pre-Teens she pilots a Griffin that has had it's LRM relocated to the left torso. when they have to travel they catch a lift in the hold of the Confederate class Dorpship owned by their friend Farrah Bendan.

Banwathe is a world around 50 or 60 Ly Rimward of the Federated Suns the planet has three City States that operate as "Freeports" for Pirates, Smugglers Black and Grey Marketeers as well as legitimate (and Semi-legitimate) periphery Traders and Mercenaries, apart from its Freeport City Sates it has dozens minor independent provinces with little if anything worth stealing so are left alone by the verious Pirates, Marauders, Bandits and other assorted Rogues that visit Banwathe.

Expeditions so far have bean the looting of an other Pirate Bands supply cash after they where reported captured by Fed Suns employed Mercenaries.

an other was when they where ambushed by the survivors of the Band they looted who found there way back, mid battle both forces where further ambushed  by a third band looking to prey on presumably weakened combatants.

after mostly restoring their Mechs, though they now have the parts they lack the tools to do any major work on Gryos or Reactors they band preying on outlying districts on Banwathe, they are trying to offload the mostly scraped Commando they salvaged.
