What about this? It seems that fissions with higher engine rating requires too much tonnage compared by fusion, so it seems that the best bet is reducing its engine rating as much as possible. But a 100 fission holds too few heat sinks so I choose 200 instead.
While it can only move 2 hexes per a round, it can jump 90 meters per a time thanks to partial wings. Not very mobile, but still not that horrible either, I think.
Its main gun is four ER Medium Lasers, and you all know that it is one of the most efficient weapon in the game. For long ranged threat it may use an ER PPC to answer the enemy fire.
C3 Computer and Targeting Computer allows it to aim true, and it also guide the artillery by TAG and Recon Camera.
Finally, because of dangerous nature of fission engine, all the engine parts are armored to protect the pilot. It is not make it invincible, though, but it seems a must for using a fission engine without lost your mind.

An alternative, this variant lets the pilot to control the mech far behind of the line, thus does not care for its radiation leakage. It replaces TSM and Light Ferro-Fibrous armor by standard myomer and standard armor to give enough space for the heat sink while reducing its engine rating to 100. Angel ECM is replaced by cheaper Guardian, so it is just enough to generate ECCM and protect the line of communication between the drone and the controller.
